Architecturally, the temple beautifully combines elements of the Puri Jagannath Temple and the Sun Temple of Konark. The Rekha Deula (sanctum tower) rises majestically, echoing the Puri spire’s profile, while the ornamentation and carvings—especially the chariot motifs and sculptural panels—draw direct inspiration from Konark. The Pidha Deula (Jagamohana) in front of the sanctum and the open courtyard together form a traditional Kalingan temple complex that maintains the sanctity and aesthetic rhythm of Odisha’s sacred architecture.
